Casual Users
If you have registered with us and have been sent a userid and password, then you are a Casual User and have access to the Newztext database.
Newztext prices are $2 (+GST) per search and $5 (+GST) per document printed or viewed. You will be billed in New Zealand dollars. Billing is monthly – you will receive an invoice for any searches and views you have done. Payment may be made by cheque, bank draft, or direct credit.
Site Licence Users
If you have an annual contract for unrestricted and unlimited searching/viewing of a database within your organisation, then you are a Site Licence User and have authorised access (no userid/password) to a database or databases on The Knowledge Basket. Databases available for Site Licence and their pricing:
Newztext
Includes: Fairfax NZ Newspapers, NZ Herald, Stuff, Scoop, National Business Review, The Independent, Radio New Zealand news, NZ Doctor, Pharmacy Today, etc.

New Zealand Index
Includes: Newzindex, Index New Zealand, Index Auckland, INZART, Southland Regional News Index, NZ Woman’s Weekly Index, NZ Herald Classifieds, NZ Science, and Newspaper Index and several subject bibliographies.
Site Licence Access: Price available from the EPIC Consortium or The Knowledge Basket on application.
Maori Land Court Minute Books Index (MLCMBI)
Includes: Index only for minute books from 1865 to 1910, covering all districts i.e. Taitokerau, Waikato-Maniapoto, Tairawhiti, Waiariki, Aotea, Takitimu, and Waipounamu.
12 months = $500.00 + GST, payable in advance at the commencement of subscription.
LegislationNZ
Includes: Statutes, Bills, Regulations, SOP’s, Hansard)
Free use:The Knowledge Basket allows free browse of the Acts, Regulations, Shattering Statutes and free downloads of Bills and SOPs.
Site Licence Access: Site licencees have access to Hansard and can search the entire LegislationNZ database. Price available from The Knowledge Basket on application.

Taonga
The Knowledge Basket allows free access to all material in the Taonga resource.
The focus for Taonga collection is New Zealand history, with an emphasis on Maori. Taonga includes historical writings from Elsdon Best, Gilbert Archey, a (1983) thesis on the Maori Land Court at Matakaoa, and a (1995) bibliography on Maori information.
listserv
The “listserv” database is provided as a complementary service by The Knowledge Basket.
It is an archive of messages sent to participating listservs and is intended to provide a searchable database for librarians to freely access.
