knowstuff - stuff's gateway to INL's online news archive - 26 June 2002

Welcome to knowstuff, stuff's entry point to INL's online news archive. The archive contains stories from INL's metropolitan, provincial and Sunday newspapers going back more than five years - see the table below for details.

There are currently more than one million stories in the database with more than 15,000 new articles being added each month - it is New Zealand's most extensive online archive of quality news stories.

knowstuff is brought to you in conjunction with New Zealand's premier research archive,
The Knowledge Basket. Run by tech-savvy, trained librarians Dave Keet and Linda Winterburn and using Verity's leading edge text-search software, The Knowledge Basket is a great complement to INL's quality news.

They say that the best things in life are free - we beg to differ. Access to this treasure- trove will cost a little. Casual use costs are $1 per search and $3 for each story downloaded. You will need to register before you do any searching.
