Guide to search fields in LINX
LINX consists of three collections - Judgments, Books, and Articles. Where possible, the collections have been designed so that they share as many fields as possible - however, each collection has some unique fields, and some shared fields (fields with the same name in different collections) have different information in them.
| Field | Collections | Content |
| Acc-Date | All | Accession Date - That is, the date this record was added to the collection |
| Create-Date | All | Date Record Created - That is, the date this record was added to the collection |
| Mod-Date | All | Date Record Modified - That is, the date this record was last edited or changed. |
| Doc-Type | All | Either Article, Text, or Judgment |
| Date | All | In the Judgments collection, Date contains the date of the judgment. This field does not operate realiably on the other collections. Use the "Year" field instead. |
| Year | All | In the Articles and Texts collections, Year contains the year of publication. In the Judgments collection, Year contains the year the judgment was handed down. |
| Title | All | In the Articles and Texts collections, Title contains the title of Article or Text. In the Judgments collection, Title contains the Case Name of the judgment. |
